Built in Canada by Canadians for Canadians, the all-new 2022 Honda Civic Si is now in its ninth generation and its 36th year. We've already chronicled all of the improvements for the performance version of the 11th-gen Civic – you can read about those here – but now that the 2022 Civic Si is priced and on sale, it's time to talk about the way you can spec your Si.
In Canada, the 2022 Civic Si will be available in five colours: Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Sonic Grey Pearl, and the Si-exclusive Blazing Orange Pearl.
Red has always been a central hue in the Si lineup ever since the third-gen Civic was made available in the late 1980s. The Si has made its way through a number of different iterations since, including CRX and del Sol variants. Often labelled as the SiR in the Canadian market, the Civic has worn the Si badge since the eighth-generation car of 2008.
The 2022 Honda Civic Si, built exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, is priced from $33,150. Beyond the performance gear under the skin, standard equipment in the '22 Civic Si includes a 9-inch centre screen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a multi-angle rearview camera; Bose 12-speaker audio; hill start assist; heated front seats and a heated steering wheel; dual-zone automatic climate control; proximity access with pushbutton start; a sunroof; and a full suite of Honda Sensing active safety tech with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, and more.
