2022 Honda Civic Is The Best Small Car In Canada For 2022 According To AJAC

The all-new 11th-generation Honda Civic was launched halfway through 2021 and has been racking up awards ever since. AutoTrader says the new Civic is the Best Overall Car in Canada for 2022. The Civic was named North American Car Of The Year in early January. The Civic earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Car And Driver recently named the the new Civic one of seven Hondas in the Editors' Choices for 2022.
Now the 2022 Honda Civic has earned the title of Best Small Car at the Canadian Car Of The Year Awards conducted by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada, or AJAC.
"This is a vehicle that has deep roots in Canada, as it is built locally and has been incredibly popular since its inception," says Honda Canada's assistant vice president, Steve Hui.
The Civic has been on sale in Canada since 1973 and has been built in Canada since 1988. The latest model has earned rave reviews for being a class leader in virtually every area: cabin space, technology, safety, performance, value. As a result – and this should come as no surprise – the metric that speaks the loudest doesn't come from major media outlets but from consumers themselves.
2021 ended as the 24th consecutive year in which the Honda Civic was Canada's best-selling car.
